Update (Sept. Cambridge, MA — Early Tuesday, April 5, four Harvard Law School students found a voice-activated recording device in Belinda Hall. The device appears to have been used to spy on a group of students on campus for several days. The same is true about our own community here at Harvard Law School.

We call for faculty to hold special office hours and for the administration to make culturally competent grief and trauma counselors available in the final weeks of the semester. We look forward to continuing to work with you to create a Harvard Law School environment in which all students feel welcomed, valued, and supported.

Students and recent graduates from Harvard Law School who work in the private and public sectors are pledging to donate some of their earnings to public interest organizations of their choice.
